"King beds in every bedroom, WiFi, single level floor plan, jetted tub, and a garage made this a great place for my family. Easy distance to Yellowstone National Park and local moose in the area made it more enjoyable. A handrail on the outdoor steps would make a he home more accessible.

"My parents, my brother, myself and my husband and our four children stayed two nights. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. My kids enjoyed playing some of the board games provided. We enjoyed crashing here after long days exploring Yellowstone. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect cabin in the woods

"This was our second stay here. This cabin has everything you need. It’s close to west Yellowstone. Beautiful forest surroundings. So clean. Comfortable beds. Host was responsive and helpful with booking and changing our dates for us. Fully stocked kitchen and plenty of linens. Will visit again for sure!

"We loved this placed and found it to be a great place to relax after enjoying Yellowstone. We were able to cook food and avoid the crowds at dinner time. Plenty of room for bigger families to stay and the king size beds were amazing to have. We hope to stay here again sometime.

"We really enjoyed this place. The place was as per the description. It is right off the main road and yet feels like you are out deep in the woods. We were visiting Yellowstone and it is about 35 minutes drive to West Yellowstone. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay here. It is good for a large group as there are plenty of beds to sleep on. Kitchen had all the dishes and utensils for us to cook and feed 6 people. Checkin was super easy by following all the instructions provided by Steve. We would love to stay at this place again during our next visit to Yellowstone.

"The Property is ina Great Location for visiting Yellowstone and has a couple of nice places to visit outside of Yellowstone. Highly recommend the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery center. The cabin itself had everything we needed for cooking purposes and was a generally good spot to rest as we were out most every day. Steve was very easy to deal with with date changes due to covid-19. Overall I would recommend anyone wanting to visit Yellowstone to check this place out.

"Property was wonderful. We had a family of 7 and had plenty of room. We spent one day at Yellowstone, and a few days just hanging around the cabin. Everyone enjoyed going to the river just down the road for some kayaking. We would certainly come back again.

"We had a great stay. There was plenty of room. We enjoyed the deck. It is about a 30 minute drive to the West Gate of Yellowstone but it’s an easy drive. We enjoyed being away from the crowds in West Yellowstone. The ability to cook and wash clothes was amazing. Laundry detergent and basic kitchen/ cooking supplies provided. We recommend it highly.

"We had such a fun time here! It was beautiful and SO clean. It has a full kitchen with all the things you need to cook for yourselves. It's nice a secluded, but only 15 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance. Check in and out was a breeze. We would love to come and stay again!

"Great cabin just outside Yellowstone National Park. Great communication and check-in process from the host. Well equipped cabin with all amenities and very comfortable. We were half way through a 17 day road trip and it was nice to have a washer and dryer to clean our clothes. Would definitely recommend!

"I absolutely loved the place. I wasn't a fan it was right off the main road but it wasn't to bad. Very beautiful cabin. The Cabin worked out well for my family of 3, my 2 brothers 1 single and 1 with a wife and 3 kids. The cabin was set up so well and very clean. Did not have a dishwasher even though it was no big deal. The only big problem that drove us crazy was the water heater did not warm up fast enough even after waiting over 2 hours. But still five stars. The manager was fast to reply and such a big help! Definitely would go back!

"House was really nice. Felt secluded while still around other houses. The area had a lot to do. The house was next to a river and came with kayaks. Past the house there is a place that rents canoes so that was a lot of fun. There is also ATV rentals and trails close which was fun also. The national park is a short drive and easy to access from the house. Something I didn't notice when looking at the pictures is the house only has one small shower in the second bathroom. The master had a nice jacuzzi tub though. This was the first time the the owner of a rental expected us to wash all the towels and wipe everything down. Wasn't a big deal but inconvenient while on vacation and paying a cleaning fee. We had to spend the last night washing before the long drive home.

"The cabin was just perfect for us. It was conveniently located and well-stocked with everything we needed. We didn't spend a whole lot of time there because we were gone to Yellowstone by 10 or 11 AM on the two full days we were there and we didn't return until around 9:30 PM. We would definitely stay there again.

"We were snowmobiling for 3 days. Nice home to house our group. The garage is great. We rented last year as well. Fire wood was out but the local gas station has plenty to buy. We left to boxes for the next renters. The location is great main trail is 1/2 a block away.

"Great experience, just what we needed to go snowmobiling. Didn’t have firewood when we got there, but owner made it right and had some delivered first thing in the morning. Everything was great! Could use some better cookware (pans) cutting knife, and cooking utensils but we had a blast non the less!

"We had a great stay in Island Park with my sister in law and her husband. The cabin was perfect for 2 couples since each couple had their own bathroom. This cabin would sleep a lot more people than we had! The kitchen had everything we needed and the fridge was very large which would be great for a long stay or a larger family. We cooked dinner both nights and the oven, stove, and microwave all worked great. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. The beds were comfortable and all had memory foam mattress toppers. The Roku stick was a nice bonus. We didn’t use the Wii but I’m sure if we’d brought our kids, they would have appreciated it! We went snowmobiling and snow-shoeing and it was great to have a clean, warm cabin to come back to. The pictures don’t actually do this cabin justice.

Nice cabin close to Yellowstone

"The cabin is older, but clean and well maintained. The beds were pretty comfortable. We did not use the kitchen at all other than the fridge and a couple do cups, so I can’t speak to any of the appliances. There is only one shower (other bathroom has a tub with a shower attachment). If you are tall or large, the shower may be difficult. My husband and oldest son are 6 foot- 6’2 and it was a challenge to use. However, it was manageable and worked. Nothing I would not come back and use the cabin again over, but wanted to mention in case that is important to anyone. He cabin was a little hard to find in the dark (gps did not find it), so make sure to read the directions they provide. Had I not written them down we would have been lost. Internet worked well. Heat worked. Overall a good stay!

"Our group was comprised of 3 generations, 7 people in all, on a trip to experience the beauty and wonder of Yelliwstone N.P. We had 2 nights in the Island Park cabin. The cabin was very clean, provided everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals, and the king size beds in all 3 bedrooms were super comfortable! We did run short of hot water one evening when we all tried to bathe or shower. Otherwise, our experience could not have been better! Our thanks to our hosts for the very clear and concise instructions for check-in, checkout and everything in between.

"Even the young children loved the property. My 6 year old grandson kept telling me "Thank you for buying this house, Grandma" which gave us a good laugh. Everything was great. "We stayed here to access Yellowstone National Park and it was perfect. We had five kids with us ranging from 17 to 8 and there was room for even more people. The washer and dryer was really nice to have when you are walking/ hiking all day at the park. The West entrance was about 30 min away and the west for was just a couple minute walk if you want to fish right by the cabin. One morning my son and his friend got up early and walked down to the river to fish. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

"Our party of 10 stayed comfortably at this rental. We visited Yellowstone all but one day we were there. The 30 minute drive to West Yellowstone is the only drawback here....just be prepared for a long time spent in the car. Clean, well equiped , kids loved the Wii. A visit to the Idaho Sand Dunes and renting side by sides is a MUST, if you are adventurous. Overall a fabulous stay. Thank you!!

"The cabin had plenty of bedroom space for our family of 6 plus and my mom who joined us for this trip. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful. Owners were extremely quick to reply to questions and correspondence. Super easy to work with all-around. The cabin is about 20-30 minutes from West Yellowstone and Yellowstone west entrance. It would have been ideal to be a few minutes closer, however, for the price (and compared to other rentals which were closer) we were willing to be a bit further out. The decision was worth it!! The drive was worth it - beautiful and we had wildlife sightings along the way to the park. We wish the cleaning fee had been a bit lower considering the few things we needed to do before leaving. Tasks were simple, but required some logistical forethought given that we wanted to leave early for our final day in the parks. We would stay here again.

"We have stayed at this cabin twice now with my sister and brother-in-law for a couples' getaway. We rent snowmobiles for a day and enjoy being able to take breaks at the cabin to warm up throughout the day. The kitchen has everything we've needed, there is a great dining table that seats 8 and is perfect for some board game competitions, and the TV has a Roku stick so we could watch a movie in the evening. The beds are comfortable, and the cabin is always clean. There's a washer/dryer which we used this time to dry some wet clothes. The cabin actually sleeps more people than we've needed, but it's a great choice if you have kids or teens that you want to bring with you as well. They have a gaming console that I'm sure the kids would love. We will definitely be back to stay again!

Fun Location Island Park

"The stay was fun. It was a good location for our trip to Yellowstone. The beds were very comfortable and the place was cozy. The kids had a good time as well. Cons: The kitchen pans are old and could use some updating. Having to wash our towels before we could leave was very time consuming as you use towels to get ready and had to wait a long time before we headed out. Won't pick a place that has us do laundry next time.

"We stayed at the cabin with our 6 kids, it was a great retreat from our adventures and there was plenty of space for everyone. Everything was clean, in good condition, and as described. "We were traveling with friends and so we had two families staying here. The house was so nice, clean and comfortable. I was really pleased that both bathrooms are accessible to everyone and neither is through a bedroom. That was helpful for us. We loved the location as we were coming to and from Yellowstone. The owner was very quick to answer my questions before we arrived and we had no issues during our stay. The rooms were great for accommodating all of us. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

"Large place with an over sized parking area. We had 2 trucks and 29’ trailers with room to spare. Although we didn’t use the garage space it’s perfect if you need to work on anything. The beds were comfortable too.

Yellowstone exploration base

"Six of us (2 families of 3) stayed for a week in this well equipped and very comfortable cabin. We used it as a base to explore Yellowstone National Park, Craters of the Moon National Monument and Grand Teton National Park. This rental has everything you need and is slightly off the beaten path. We enjoyed ourselves very much and would not hesitate to return given the opportunity. There are a number of quality restaurants in the area as well as off road vehicles to rent to explore the local countryside. We would not hesitate to recommend this cabin to anyone. We had a GREAT time!!!!

"If you are going to Yellowstone/Teton, this is the place for you to stay. Convenient to both national parks, Raven's Roost sleeps a large group, has all the amenities for a memorable stay and is a great home away from home. Owner Steve was very responsive and helpful. Raven's is remote, so bring your own food. But whether you're visiting the parks, fishing or playing in the snow, it sure beats the cost and comfort of a (pricey) local hotel room. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

"Far exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do the place or the surroundings justice. Island Park is absolutely beautiful. Though we chose this place for its proximity to Yellowstone, Island Park is wonderful in its own right. Stayed two nights. Wish we could have stayed a week!

"This place was close enough to everything we wanted to do but fantastic enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet at night. Didn’t spend a lot of time in it mostly in Yellowstone which was absolutely amazing! Thank you for hospitality. My girls loved the kayaks! That was a bonus for us. We are runners so we used the trails several times. Enjoyed our stay in Island Park!!

"We couldn't have asked for a better place for our family of 6 to stay while visiting Yellowstone! It was so clean and comfortable--cool on the hot days, cozy on the cold mornings and enough beds to sleep everyone without any arguing :) We were close enough to Yellowstone to spend our days hiking and seeing the sights, but far enough away that we had a quiet place to relax without noise and crowds. We could not be happier with our stay and have already recommended it to friends and family.

Better Than Expected

"We spent a week here and were pleasantly surprised at the size, condition, and level of furnishing, including the kitchen. It's really almost a house rather than a cabin. Very comfortable and I'd rent again if I come back here. Be advised that there is nothing in Island park except a couple fly shops, a gas station, and a very good restaurant (the Trouthunter). No grocery store so all food shopping must be done in West Yellowstone or Ashton, both 30-40 minutes away. We didn't need to contact the owner - he does a good job of explaining what's expected before you get there and has a notebook covering all the details at the cabin. The only negative I can think of is the crappy coffee maker which required constant attention or it would overflow and make a huge mess - so watch out for that :^)

"The cabin was very clean, comfortable and decorated very nicely. The set up was more than adequate for the 5 of us and would be great for larger groups as well! The amenities were great! We enjoyed the games that were in the cabin, the wi-fi worked well and we found everything that we needed to make for a comfortable stay. The drive to Yellowstone was about 30 minutes but really not bad, especially considering how nice the cabin was for the price. The last night we were even surprised by a visit from a magnificent bull moose right in the front yard! We would definitely recommend the Raven's Retreat and would stay here again!

Little piece of Heaven!!

"This cabin is PERFECT!! We loved being here! We traveled to Yellowstone as well as Henry's Lake. We fished Henry's Fork which is walking distance from the cabin. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was equiped and the bathrooms were clean. Its spacious yet cozy. Wonderfully decorated with beautiful cabin atmosphere. My kids enjoyed the wii and the adults loved the fireplace. We will FOR SURE be back!!! Favorite place we have stayed!! There is a large list of to do items before leaving which is frustrating since we paid a fairly large cleaning fee. We had time to kill and did more then requested but still rather frustrating to be required to pay and clean. Also would have like to know before hand that there was and outdoor fire ban. Still, overall an amazing place!!! Would suggest plastic kitchen ware for the kiddos :)

"Cabin was awesome! Super clean and spacious for our group. Parking lot/driveway was great for a large snowmobile trailer and truck. Only slight hiccup was the digital guide to the house didn’t come through in my email so I had to reach out to get that. Otherwise seamless experience!
